Should you apply sunscreen when it is cloudy?

Again, YES! The fact that the sun is hiding behind the clouds does not mean that the sun cannot damage your skin. More than 80% of the UV rays of the sun can still make their way to your skin and therefore, you should wear the SPF no matter the situation of the weather. Keep yourself protected even when it is not sunny outside because the damage will probably be the same.

Do you need to apply sunscreen indoors?

According to a study on human cells, CFLs were found to emit UVA radiation that can cause skin damage. Another study by the same research group found that LED lighting was safe for skin. So depending on the kind of light used in your workplace or your home, decide if you need the SPF. It is always a good idea to just apply it, just in case.
